TOWN OF OXFORD
REPORTING STORM DAMAGE TO PRIMARY HOMES
Homeowners with storm-related damage to their primary home are encouraged to make a report via the 211 phone system. Callers will talk to a real person who will take their information and talk them through a series of questions to help assess the level of damage. To be eligible for possible aid through either the federal or state government it is essential that reports be made soon. Only uninsured damage to primary residences will qualify. Damage to outbuildings, second homes or cottages, lawns, woodlots or crops may be reported, but likely will not qualify. Assistance may be available for any of these concerns through other agencies and government programs.
