PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Oxford will hold a public hearing on February 8, 2017 at the Oxford Town Hall located at N2985 County Road O at 6:00 PM.
The public hearing will be held to gather public input on a proposed update to the Town of Oxford Comprehensive Plan. The update includes the latest demographic and population information and incorporates appropriate Town Plan amendments related to Marquette County’s 2015 update to its comprehensive plan and farmland preservation plan.
The proposed Town Comprehensive Plan update is available for review at the Clerk’s Office located at N2873 County Road A, by appointment only; at the Marquette County Zoning Department (77 W. Park Street, Montello, WI 53949); and at http://www.co.marquette.wi.us/departments/zoning/comprehensive-planning.
In addition, you may contact Mary Walters, Town Clerk at 608-586-4366 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to request additional information. Written comments on the proposed Comprehensive Plan update and amendments should be submitted before February 6, 2017 to the Town Clerk. All written comments will be forwarded to the Town Board Members.

NOTIFICATION LIST FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATES OR AMENDMENTS
The Town of Oxford maintains a Comprehensive Plan under Section 66.1001 of Wisconsin Statutes, which it may wish to update or amend from time to time. Under State law, the Town must maintain a list of persons who submit a written or electronic request to receive notice of any proposed change to a comprehensive plan that affects the allowable use of the property owned by the person.
This notice is to persons wishing to add their names to this list. If added to such list, the Town is required to provide written notice, including a copy or summary of the proposed comprehensive plan change, to all such persons whose property, the allowable use of which, may be affected by the proposed change.
If you wish to be added to such list, please notify the Town Clerk, Mary P. Walters, N2873 County Road A, Oxford, WI 53952 or email@example.com, indicating your preferred means of notice. The Town may charge each person on the list who receives a notice by first class mail a fee that does not exceed the approximate cost of providing the notice to the person.
